ALong Walk To Water
As we study this thematic unit about The Lost Boys, I think that young boys in Sudan, Africa with no
parents. They walk in a sandstorm to hide from rebels. Since the boys are attacked they have no water to
drink and they are sick. An African lion stalks his prey. The childern have to find their own food and
survive. They have no doctors so the doctors have to travel to the sick people and they have to bring all
thier supplies to the village. The childern get kidnapped and get forced to fight. Doctors have to travel
many miles to get here to meet the family of the sick person. They have smiles on their face when they
meet. They have to work and live in tents. They are trying to escape their tribal war and stop the violence
in Darfur and stop the protesting.
